DUCROT ROSE GARDEN
A retreat nestled among roses
From Vicky and Isabella Ducrot's love of roses, around their country house in the Umbrian hills, the Rose Garden has blossomed.
The country house
Ducrot Rose Garden is an old farmhouse, called Caselle, located in the Umbrian hills, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, vineyards and a large garden dedicated to roses. It has a scenic position in the hills near Lake Corbara, between Orvieto and Todi.
The old country house, restored in the traditional Umbrian style preserving its original structure, is furnished with furniture made in the 1910s and 1930s by Vittorio Ducrot in Palermo.
THE ROSE GARDEN
The rose garden has grown year after year thanks to Vicky and Isabella Ducrot who, over a period of 50 years, have collected every type of wild rose they encountered during their travels in Asia and Europe.
Art & Design
The country house also hosts Isabella Ducrot's Atelier, with the artist's works inspired by the flowers, scents and colours of the rose garden. The house is also furnished with Art Nouveau and modernist furniture, made in the famous Ducrot factories in Palermo between the 1910s and 1930s.
